Students enrolled in WRIT 3180 edit and produce Aisthesis, the University of Minnesota Duluth's annual interdisciplinary honors journal. This online, international peer-reviewed journal publishes articles from all majors across university honors programs. It receives more than a hundred submissions a year from universities around the United States.Â
The Department of English, Linguistics, and Writing Studies also produces The Duluth Journal of Advanced Writing (DJAW), an online peer-reviewed journal which publishes articles written and edited by undergraduate students and recent undergraduate alumni from UMD. The mission is to represent the work of undergraduate students as well as publish innovative, original work that advances the fields of professional, scholarly, and creative writing.
