Andy Kust is an award-winning music director, vocal coach and pianist whose work has been seen and heard on regional stages across the country. Andy is currently on faculty with the UMD Theatre Department, where he teaches courses in Singing, Musical Theater Repertoire, Music Literacy, and Audition Techniques. His former students can be seen performing on Broadway, in national tours, and with premier regional theaters that include the Guthrie, Papermill Playhouse, Goodspeed Opera House, and the La Jolla Playhouse. Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, American Federation of Musicians, and the Musical Theatre Educators’ Alliance. Proud graduate of Luther College, and Arizona State University.
