Lots of fun to be had at our Percussion Festival!

The University of Minnesota Duluth is proud to host a FREE two-day intensive workshop for select high school students who will address all major areas of percussion performance.

UMD faculty and graduate students will spend two days presenting clinics and workshops along with rehearsing the student participants for a c

ollaborative performance on January 14th at 5pm in our Weber Music Hall.

High School Band Directors, we are asking you to nominate up to 5 of your best percussionists to attend the workshop.  You should come too!  While there is no cost associated with attending the workshop, students (and band directors) are responsible for travel, meals and housing during the event (lunch will be provided on both days).

Once participation is confirmed, band directors will be emailed a welcome packet that includes an itinerary and music to be prepared for the workshop.
