MAKERS GOTTA MAKE. Find the tools and skill sets to make your vision come to life. We have emphases in various studio disciplines.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Studio Art allows young artists to develop their unique creative vision while also providing rigorous and balanced training in aesthetics and techniques. While students may choose a single area, on which to  focus, they are encouraged to explore a range of media and nurtured in an environment that fosters a cross-disciplined approach to image and form. Here traditional studio practices share equal footing with new and emerging technologies in an effort to best prepare young artists for the field. Here theoretical, historical, and conceptual foundations in art history courses and seminars provide students with the foundation for a lifetime in the arts.

Students in the BFA program may specialize in one of the following emphases:

  • Digital Art and Photography
  • General Studio
  • Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking
  • Sculpture and Ceramics
